I’m having second doubts about this job. Don’t get me wrong, most of the people are great and there are times when I really love it but the beginning is just too hard. Wow, just writing that makes me seem like a baby. I still have no idea what I’m doing, most of them time I’m running around thinking what have I gotten myself into. I know there is a learning curve but when will I get the hang of this? Anyway, that’s enough whining for now. I think I should really just open up a bakery. Baking cakes, some cookies…..just making people fat and happy. Ok, maybe not fat but definitely happy.

You just haven’t hit your stride. Go back and read your posts about getting this job and how happy you were. That should make you feel better!

Don’t undersestimate yourself – maybe you need more time to get the swing of things – it’s not an easy thing. I know you can do it – maybe you should ask for some quidelines….

I’m sorry things are still stressful at work. Hopefully the holiday break will do you some good and give you time to rest and rejuvenate.
Also, if you ever find the secret to baking sweets that don’t make one fat, let me know because I am totally in.

You’ll get it. I believe in you. `
But the cookies and cakes idea sounds awfully tempting.

I totally think that way sometimes – that I should just open a bakery and be 200 pounds and feed people and be happy.
And then someone usually reminds me that owning a bakery is a lot of work.

Red velvet cupcakes… They always make everything okay.
And the job thing… I work with Mike and Anna at this amazing place by the water and some days I’m not sure I can do it. It gets so stressful, but usually I just need some perspective to get through the rough spots.
Find your perspective and your happy place. Cupcakes… Mmmmmm…
